Originally from Destin, Florida, Dr. Alex Kennedy has had a lifelong passion for veterinary medicine. She began working in the field at just 12 years old and became a veterinary technician by the age of 15. She graduated with her Associate of Science in Biology at 18, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and an Associate of Science in Biochemistry from the University of West Florida in 2019. She went on to earn her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2024. Dr. Kennedy has a strong interest in emergency medicine, neurology, ultrasound, and cytology, and she brings extensive experience from her time working in emergency and urgent care settings. Both her clients and her coworkers appreciate her kind demeanor as well as her thoroughness and attention to detail when it comes to caring for her patients. She now calls Savannah, Georgia, home, where she lives with her husband, Nick, and their four beloved pets—Harley, a Boxer, and three cats: Iris, Nemo, and Ghost. The move to Savannah came through Nick’s career in the military, and together they enjoy making it their new home.
